The free market is evil, pretty much all of the time. This country has continued to march backward since 1980, with the arrival of St. Ronald the Truly Demented. & what is so stupid, is that this march backward has been accompanied by the rise of the American fundamentalists - not Christians in my understanding. A Christian, at least according to its book, cares for the poor, the infirm, the sick. But according to the American Taliban, all of these afflictions are the fault of the afflicted, because god does not love them enough, or some other equally moronic reason. You see, the genetic component of alcoholism is fake science, something invented by, oh, I don't know, John Tower maybe.
