Supporting Our Troops?

Last night I went, with some friends, to a benefit for a soldier who was paralyzed after his Humvee rolled in Iraq. The money from the benefit will go for an experimental stem cell treatment. The problem is that Bushco has effectively stopped any meaningful stem cell research in this country. This poor man will need to fly to Europe for the treatment. My friend & I expressed our disgust with this scenario, & the young man & other young men, with marine t-shirts, agreed. We just urged them to remember this when it's time to vote for President again.
