Why Are They So Afraid

http://www.wegokayaking.com/graphics/three_grizzly_bears.jpg

Who's afraid of Virgina Grizzly Bear. It's disturbing to me that the right- wing is managing to delist the large predators in America. Why are they so afraid? I thought these guys were big tough outdoorsmen. Apparently not. Here is some info on wolf delisting out west. Here's more government bullshit on delisting in Wisconsin. The poor farmers, the poor bear hunters. Why are they afraid to go into the woods?

I have only observed grizzley bears from afar (very afar). I am acquainted with wolves a little closer to home and my questions are: If the wolf population is now more than double what was said to be a sustainable population goal, how many are enough? And when do the benefits of wolf reintroduction begin?

Why must there be any benefit? Just wait & they'll thin that herd of Rocky Mountain Elk the hell out of Clam Lake. Those elk are the creatures that don't belong here, never were here to begin with. On the other hand, I wonder what an elk porterhouse tastes like? HMMM.

The only thing eating elk porterhouse are wolves. When they are out of elk porterhouse, then what? .... I wonder if horses have porterhouse...

I think I would rethink that statement "Those elk are the creatures that don't belong here, never were here to begin with." Not more then 2 years ago they pulled an elk skelleton out of a lake by Barns that was over 10,000 years old. How is that not a native animal?
