to blog, it's too darn hot for just about everything. But this evening offers a potential bright spot. An old friend is in the area with the new boyfriend & will be coming down for dinner. She's also bringing five other people, plus another old friend is back from Hawaii & will be joining us. I'm thawing out a bunch of venison steaks. We have green beans from the garden, cucumbers & onions too, plus a big pot of gazpacho to eat. I bought a big bottle of Sapphire gin & some tonic water. A bag full of limes finishes this all off. I hope it cools down. Jeez. Maybe the cool g & t's will help make it not matter.
