So, I'm thinking about buying something quite similar to this. A 1984 FLT. What do you think? The kid & son-in-law are quite adamant that I don't do it, or at least get training wheels. It's actually a good price. I think I'll do it, if I get the loan.

If you can afford it get anewer bike with the advanced Evo motor. The older less expensive shovelheads REQUIRED a moderate dgree of mechanical skill and constant attention. You might also start with something a bit smaller that hog in the picture runs over 1000# when loaded. Have the owner lay it down and see if you can pick the beast up. RLK
