Some Good News

We needed this important victory in a hideous week, so far. The spineless Democratic (I use the term loosely) senators in Washington should take a lesson from the Democrats in the Wisconsin Assembly. Good for the representatives. They did the right thing, again.

"The state Assembly today came up short in its attempt to override Gov. Jim Doyle’s veto of a measure that would have allowed residents to carry concealed weapons.

The 64-to-34 vote was a boost to Doyle, who mustered enough support from fellow Democrats to fend off a veto override on the measure for a second time."

Representatives Van Akkeren and Steinbrink can expect the NRA types to come after them with guns blazing (pun intended)like they did with Gary Sherman.

People who think this concealed carry proposal is lunacy at its finest are encouraged to send some $$$ in the direction of these two representatives for the coming election.
