Hard Not To Laugh, Krugman Wins

I'm really going to enjoy this liberal's Nobel Prize. The right-wing nutcases must be really choking on their own thick spit.
Mr. Krugman, 55, a professor at Princeton University in New Jersey and a columnist for The New York Times, formulated a new theory to answer questions about free trade, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said.

“What are the effects of free trade and globalization? What are the driving forces behind worldwide urbanization? Paul Krugman has formulated a new theory to answer these questions,” the academy said in its citation.

“He has thereby integrated the previously disparate research fields of international trade and economic geography,” it said.

I am happy, but damn, one more prize just out of my grasp.

I'll bet that Krugman is out boat shopping right now. He probably can get a dandy for 10 million Kronors--and most likely includes a crew of lovely Norweigans. Eating lefse and muttering uff-da while sailing around the north atlantic - truly a paradise for the dismal science.

Not only are you squandering my tax money with all your free veterans benefits, but you put salt in the wounds by bringing up the boat, uff da is correct. Maybe that's my problem with those Nobel guys, I'm a quarter Norwegian - that's probably a disqualification to them. Setting up our own Prize, that's the ticket. Money, as you note, is a concern. Maybe we can begin small, a bake sale at the softball games at Memorial Park in High Bridge. Your thoughts?

Oops on the Norwegian stuff.

Maybe we could make a lot of money in the next 2-3 weeks selling straw to Republicans so they can build strawmen. Its a little late for a bake sale at softball games. World series coming up.
