UPDATE: Yes, in fact, these are hedgehogs, sorry for the confusion, but the correction is the great thing about the internets. What else is great is that here are some pics of real, really real, North American porcupine babies. & they are still cute as hell. Thanks for the help.

I'm pretty sure that those are baby African pygmy hedgehogs--not at all the same thing as porcupines.

So now I know where my pot scrubbers disappeared to...I thought they had wandered off...and it's true!
Yes, my wife and I both agree those are extremely cute Rodentia. Reminds me of a visit to the Dallas Zoo (I think) a couple of decades ago, where they had baby porcupines. Only a day or two old, and they were already trundling around under Mom's nose, stealing some of her veggies!
