More crooked refs. I think the refs are calling them closer this year because of all the retired football players that have their brains batted out. I offer the late Jack Kemp as exhibit A, J C Watts as exhibit B, and a purple thing named Brett as exhibit C.
I love this analysis & certainly could not agree more with your first two examples. However, Favre, purple may he be, was still treated like dirt by McCarthy (hmmm?) & Thompson (double hmmm, since Favre had a lapse in judgment & endorsed T. Thompson once.) I think you really are on to something. Thanks.
