The Shakes

I'm heading out on the motorcycle to attend my 40th high school reunion. I hope my friend from sunny CA is there. It would be great if Saturday night was a repeat of The Summer Of Love, but I won't be holding my breath. More here & here & here.

I'll be packing the heart drugs, super horse sized vitamins & the vikes, so at least it will be a healthy & painless weekend. Of course, the g & t's won't hurt, either. Here are a couple of my all time favorite songs, as performed in 1967, a great year to graduate high school & head off to college, in my case, UW-Madison. Yes, a relatively poor boy from northern Wisco could attend one of the great universities in America &, with working two jobs, could afford it. I'll be away from the laptop, maybe, for a couple of days so I don't know how I'll react. I just might get the shakes from the withdrawal, but I do have my meds. I think I'll load the old HP laptop into a saddlebag just in case, however. Enjoy the following.

This is the work ethic I like to see-if only more young people had that same atitude today. I'm sure there are some who do but it's getting rare to see.
