Hope

That justice will be served.
The Army said yesterday it has charged three soldiers with premeditated murder and other criminal offenses for shooting to death three unarmed Iraqis last month and then later threatening to kill a fellow soldier if he revealed details to investigators.
....
The three defendants -- Private Corey R. Clagett , Staff Sergeant Raymond L. Girouard , and Specialist William B. Hunsaker -- are accused of killing three males of ``apparent Middle Eastern descent" at the Muthana Chemical Complex north of Baghdad by shooting them at close range, according to the official Army charges made public yesterday.

Your point is??? Unless you wer'e there - how can you you HOPE for justice not knowing all the facts and what these soldiers went through. The media and certain pols have them labeled as guilty. We want to give Amnesty and special rights to law breaking Illegal Immigrants but assign guilt to soldiers who have been asked by the president to and Congress to fight this war. Where are our priorities?

I did not see the sun rise this morning, but right now I can safely say that indeed the sun did rise. Whatever the conditions, a moral person does not murder another person in cold blood. Calley got away with murder, which was too bad, but we can't claim to be a moral nation if we allow anyone, including trained soldiers, to murder in our name, at least not in my name. I don't have to murder someone to say that murder is evil. It's time for you to examine your own belief system, which, at least evidenced by your comment, needs some work.
