Good Read

Joe Lieberman is fast becoming the Democratic Party's albatross. Sen. Shumer better get his act together, as well.
Exactly. The establishment would obviously like to do away with primaries. They would prefer to simply tell the plebes for whom to vote and just take their money. But, that's not the way it's going to work anymore. It's not just that politics have taken a parliamentary turn, which is quite true. It goes to the heart of why so many Americans don't trust Democrats to lead: the spineless factor. It's why the Democratic terrorists are going to take the radical step of trying to elect someone who doesn't publicly kiss George W. Bush on the lips every chance he gets.
You can go here to email your attitude towards Ned Lamont's challenge to Lieberman to support the winner of the Democratic primary in August. Lamont has already pledged to support the winner, Lieberman has not, in fact, he is apparently exporing the possibility of running as an independent. If that happens, he's worse than a louse.

UPDATE: David Sirota has joined the bandwagon.
Joe is finally learning that there are consequences to selling out his party.

Emphasis happily added.

Do the Dems really need one less safe senate seat? We must be expecting a BIG win this fall.

This is like asking one of our guys to leave the bar before the fight starts.

In the words of Basil - there are certain people you always want on your side. Not because they will necessarily help you but rather because they are such a son of a bitch when they are on the other side.

I think we need all the allies we can get.
