But anyone with a brain, that would not include Bu$hCo, already knew this, for crying out loud. Will it make any difference? A young friend of mine says all this talk & hope won't help - only decapitation will work. Of course, it's illegal & while I hunt & fish, I do carry those deaths with me permanently. I want this to make a difference, but I have no real answer for my young friend.

Just finished reading all 214 comments on the "You Go Girl" thread. So... where do we go from here? Or, as my friend the Deputy Sheriff said in response to my extended rant on some unconstitutional federal snafu, "So... what's your point?" Can it be fixed or is it already too late in the game?

Personally, I think Pelosi's been getting a little shrill, lately and she might want to back off from that "handmaids to special interests" line (as well as from the tired old "culture of corruption" canard). Let's not forget who've bought lock stock and barrel several democrats. The pharmaceutical industry, big tobacco and MBNA, to name just a few special interests, have also funded Democratic campaigns.
Not that I don't agree with her in everything that she says about this energy bill debate. I'm just saying, glass houses, glass houses.
Which handily explains why the Democrats don't go after the GOP as much as they can regarding their spectacular corruption.
Of course, this is all hypotheitcal. The good people of Texas have to vote this crook out, first, although I'd settle for a screaming, torch-wielding mob.
