Tools for success? That's a horselaugh. Public schools waste 6 to 15 times the cost of my kids' private religious school education, and FAIL to provide a decent education. What's wrong with allowing open competition and allowing parents to choose where THEIR money will be spent? After all, we're footing the bill through unconstitutional property taxes that fund government schools. Have the parasite spawn of your people gone so far downhill that they cannot survive in a free society without a socialist-provided hog trough to feed from? A fat racist pig would be someone with his snout in a hog trough, fighting for his "rights" and believing his "annointed tribe" status entitles him to special privileges (living at the expense of others).
I spend $270/month (combined total) to send ALL my kids to a private religious school. At the same time, I'm forced to pay for public schools that are models of institutionalized failure and waste. Why shouldn't everybody want to spend less money and have the freedom to choose schools that work? Choice worked before there were government schools. People just got together and hired a teacher for their kids' education. It even worked after government schools but before forced integration, when there were black schools that were as good as or better than white schools. I don't have a problem with integration, it's the "forced" part that is bad, and causes violence and a poor learning environment. After all, it's all about choices. Continuing to throw money at a colossal failure is the wrong choice for everybody. Let's allow parents to choose who teaches their children, and what they are taught. It's our dime, and they're our children.
Is there anything you wingnut trolls won't whine about? I pay a lot of taxes that go for the illegal war in Iraq - but I don't blame my whole life on those taxes. You pay taxes because you belong to a society that needs them. They pay for all kinds of services that you need, to name one, roads. It's time to understand that you, indeed, are your brother's keeper, & your brother needs the taxes to pay for everything that makes a society a liveable society, for the benefit of the whole society, not just a bunch of dipsticks who want to go back & live in the dark ages. Well, you did make one good point, indirectly. We need roads, and it seems the best way to pay for roads is with taxes. In this case, those who use the roads pay for them, which is as it should be... through fuel taxes. With regard to being my brother's keeper: Cain's question accused God of being unfair. Cain was NEVER required to be his brother's keeper, but he WAS required to NOT be his brother's murderer. Socialist redistributionist taxes steal a part of a man's life that he invested in acquiring the means to live... a part that he can never recover if it is stolen from him through taxation. So in a sense, socialism is a combination of thievery and murder, the very opposite of what it pretends to stand for. So I don't accept the "package deal" of taxation as being good. Some good, some bad. Big government does a VERY inefficient job of getting things done with our money. That's a point I think we can agree on. And I think voluntary charitable giving does a much better job of meeting needs in a responsible and efficient manner than does government bloated bureaucracy. I'd be happy if the federal government would limit its activities to those mandated by the Constitution... namely protecting us from foreign aggression and delivering the mail. Local and state government can handle the rest, and be more easily held accountable. Career government bureaucrats are like a coven of medieval guild socialists. I want to throw the dipsticks out and get OUT of the dark ages.
Government, big government, has a great role in the health & happiness of its citizens. The problem, of course, is that the theocrats have stolen two electons in a row. Go ahead, send your children to a religious school, just don't come to me when they get in trouble with, let's say, a hurricane, a flood, tornado, drunk driver, cancer, heart disease, AIDS/HIV, an abusive spouse. I'm not saying your children WILL have any of these problems, but if they do, I hope you & them, for that matter, will have the good sense to utilize the government's help. Lastly, any religion that demands that families abandon each other is not much of a family values religion.

Cain's sarcastic response to God's question was a lame attempt to cover the blood on his hands. He was not normally responsible for Abel's whereabouts... except for the fact that he had BURIED him. God was giving him a chance to confess. Cain chose to dissimulate, and when confronted with and judged for his crime, his only response was self-pity. Typical of people with a man-made religion... all he had to do was meet God on God's terms. He chose to "do it my way" and got mad when God didn't accept it.
Give that stolen election rubbish a rest. Presidents are chosen by electoral vote, not popular vote, and the dems tried to overthrow the laws of the State of Florida. Electoral voting is our protection against the nations course and its entire geographic area being run by slum dwellers.

My ideas lead to freedom. All the fascists, nazis and communists are leftys, like you, who believe in total government control. Wa-a-ay to the right of center, but a little to the left of total anarchy is freedom... a constitutional republic. I doubt you have a clue what fascism is.
