David Obey, my representative, has decided to call it quits. A long time ago my father ran for County Clerk in a county in Obey's district. I remember standing with them, at a Labor Temple. & speaking of Labor Temples, it is a sorry state of affairs that the union movement have lost many of these great buildings. The one where Obey, my father, & I stood, was destroyed, replaced by a bank.

It will be the end of the world as we know it. I will say though that Duffy is an ideal Republican Candidate - he is pretty and not openly gay.
BillyCreek....does Duffy have a lot of support in Ashland.."favorite son" candidate? After living there for as long as I did I can't imagine a hardcore conservative being a popular candidate there..
