Ice My Back

I've been dealing with a severely painful lower back today. I'm not sure what I did to it. Did a bit, a very little bit, of lifting yesterday. Maybe its nerves, it is Lamont or Not day. We really need a Lamont victory in the CT primary today. Holy Joe, dickhead, favorite Bush homoerotic fantasy (remember The Kiss) needs to understand that he is out-of-step, not only with the Democratic Party, but also the citizens of his home state. The DKC & the beltway pundits also need to understand that an anti-war stance is not elitist, not wacko, not even left, it is the the stance of a majority of American people. I am nervous about this race. I know that it is an election the is local, but Senators wield national influence, that's the way it's supposed to be, notwithstanding pork. But back to my back - I drove up toward the lake today to pick up some dog food, the pups are pissed, a plastic 32 gal. garbage can for my planer (a long story), & a blender for paper making. & now, no help to my back, a report that the kid + 2 has apparently developed gestational diabetes. Makes the back, among other things, a bit inconsequential. One begins to wonder if they are milking this story in the media rather than trying to mitigate their damages. I also know something else: computer geeks nationwide are sitting in their cubicles, shaking their heads and saying to themselves, "It’s about the bandwidth, idiot. You get what you pay for, and you are getting bargain basement bandwidth."
