Grantsburg's Version of Cops

"Aug. 27, Bradley G. Larrabee was driving northbound on Leef Road, near Cty. Road A, when he skid off the road and crashed into a tree. He got out and began walking before meeting with police. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions, failure to maintain control and failure to notify police of an accident."

I thought he walk until he meet police. I guess he didn't tell the police why he walk.

"Aug. 28, John T. Omalley, Danbury, was traveling west on Hwy. 77 when he left the roadway on the northside of the road, causing him to go into the ditch. The passenger of the car, unknown, was ejected from the vehicle, but it is unknown if the driver was ejected. Alcohol was in the car."

Reading the entry leaves me dejected, but, at least the booze didn't get ejected. (Hey Les & George.)

"Aug. 28, Troy D. Main, Spring Lake Park, MN, reported a stolen car from the Cabaret. The doors were unlocked and the keys were in the front seat. There are no suspects and is still under investigation."

Either the Cabaret has indoor parking, or, the Cabaret is inside a car, or, the Cabaret is now carless.

"Aug. 25, Police are looking for Ricky A. Mork, Danbury, for allegedly assaulting his sister, Jody K. Blomster, Danbury. He fled the scene on a red motorcycle and was unable to be located."

Hell of a red bicycle. Real fast.

"Aug. 21, Christine L. Hagert, Siren, reported that someone had broken in her home and stole some items out of her refrigerator. Although police are still investigating, it is believed to be the work of a 10-year old juvenile."

Sure am glad the police are still investigating.
