Peregrine Falcons

Good news for Wisconsin & peregrines.
More than four decades after the insecticide DDT wiped out all peregrine falcons in Wisconsin, the raptors have successfully hatched young at more than 20 nests for a second consecutive year - a small number, though it is in line with their post-World War II presence in the state, researchers said.
