Such Courage

It no longer possible to believe that these people actually care about this country or its Constitution. Eff.

"The Senate Intelligence Committee yesterday rejected Sen. Rockefeller's motion to hold hearings to investigate the President's warrantless eavesdropping program by an 8-7, strict party line vote. Yet again, every Senate Republican followed White House instructions not to investigate the President, and this time did so despite the statements of several of those GOP Senators just within the last 8 weeks that such an investigation was urgent and necessary."

But remember, citizens:

This really underscores how important it is to elect only DEMOCRATS this fall. No independents or moderate republicans. It may require some severe nose holding but the only way to get at this is to have a DEMOCRAT MAJORITY.

I know that when another terrorist attack hits the U.S., cold h20 and nonheroicvet will be some of the first people to ask why the government isn't doing enough to protect the country. Well, with this program that is what they are doing.

Really? I believe the conventional intelligence communtiy placed a paper on Bu$hCo's desk with the title of something like Osama bin Laden wants to hurt us. Bu$hCo & his band of neo-asses did nothing. Then they invaded a country that did not threaten us in any way. But, that's OK anonymous commenter because you apparently don't care if this country turns its back on its own laws. I feel really sorry for you. Maybe you ought to move to South Dakota, I hear all females belong to their men & the state. Sounds like a place you'd like.

Maybe anonymous could tell us specifically what the program is. The post was talking about the Republican failure to investigate alleged illegal activity by the President.

If anonymous wishes to cede any of his rights to the government I am sure that a competent neocon/Federalist Society attorney has the forms already drafted and all thats needed is to fill in the blanks. That also seems to be anonymous' right. But please don't try to give mine away.
