Oscars

So, I hadn't planned to watch the Oscars because, well, I never watch the Oscars. But the kid called & said I should watch for awhile since it was funny. So, I did turn on in time for the Best Supporting Actor award & George Clooney won. I've had a crush on him for awhile. Anyway, his acceptance speech was great. I'm paraphrasing here, but he said that it's true that Hollywood is a bit out of touch, so out of touch it gave Hattie McDaniel an Oscar back in the 1930's, during a time of real segregation. He said he was proud to part of an institution that was that out of touch. John Steward came on after the commercial & asked for another round of applause for Clooney. You go boy. I'm proud of you, you hunk. Feast your eyes.
