Xmas Eve

Well, the trip to The Cities was uneventful. I'll post some pics of the trip tomorrow, or later tonight. Hope all who read this have a good xmas eve & if you get a boat, screw you.

I'm Back

Well, I'm back from the Cities & the first Xmas with The Twins. Here are some pics of the happy time.

It's Xmas Eve & me & the Mrs. are down at The Kid's. The Son-in-Law's brother & parents are here with The Twins, as well. It's The Babies first Xmas & they have no idea what's going on. The tree was decorated this afternoon & the gifts, all wrapped, are under the pagan symbol of the day's getting longer & moods getting lighter. I've already looked down the alley both ways & don't see a boat, so it will be one more year of disappointment. With that, I need to wish my loyal four readers an extremely

A Little Levity

In case you're wondering about the late night/early morning post, I've been dealing with insomnia lately. This Santa temping gig is getting on my nerves, yesterday's shift at Rosedale especially.

It was like that my whole shift. I'm on my third outfit, having been peed on again last night. That's not the worst of it. I think I'm losing my ability to hear high pitched sounds thanks to the banshee wails of suburban children ripped from their TVs to do photo opps for their grandparents.

Otherwise things are slowly getting better. I only dropped two of the little bastards yesterday. The first was just fine, and the other hardly showed any marks at all.
