The first pic is of the beach at Muskallonge Lake State Park. The H2O in that lake was like bathwater - in May - in the U.P. - so I went swimming, well, sort of swimming, OK, I waded out & sat down. The second & third pics are of a gigantic midge hatch at the same park. Luckily, midges are not biting/stinging insects, but as you can see, their numbers can be annoying.
