So the Sidekick & Mrs. Sidekick, along with Mrs. coldH2O & myself took a short road trip to the Blue Bayou tonight for some very northern Cajun food. It was great. I had the Cajun duck, more than I could finish. They others had jambalaya, shrimp ettouffe, & crayfish ettouffe. For an appetizer we had a bit of fried alligator. Everything was quite good, except for a large party of boorish, over-lubricated morons who, for some reason, did not understand that they did not have to yell at each other. This all leads up to this week's edition of bee news. Again, this is a few months old, but after tonight, the Sidekick could use a little of the bee that stung him. Enjoy.

Great and TIMELY article. My guess would be when the bees get nasty they've probably been "sipping" on the nectar of some conifer and tonic.
