Yikes!
This is heading our way. Hopefully, it will hit Chicago, the home of the dirtiest team in the history of football, there, I said it again. I hope that steak on New Year's Eve tasted great, Joe, The New Guy.
The most extreme conditions were about 200 miles to the east of San Francisco, in the Sierra Nevada, where the National Weather Service warned of blizzard and whiteout conditions and gusts of 160 miles per hour. Just hours into the storm, a 163-m.p.h. gust was reported on one mountaintop near Lake Tahoe.

But here are some pics of the storm we are having way north of stinking Chicago.
The coldH2O home. Yep, lots of snow today.

The horses, there are two of them now.

One out-of-place & sad robin. No worms around here.

Same robin, same tree.

View of the back yard.

While the northern Plains and Northeast shiver in dangerously cold temperatures, the folks in upstate New York are keeping warm shoveling snow - lots of snow.
Since Sunday, the small towns of Parish and Mexico have recorded more than 6 feet of snow, and forecasters with the National Weather Service say it isn't over yet.
Another 2 feet or more of heavy lake effect snow was expected Thursday for the communities along eastern Lake Ontario, and more squalls are likely through the weekend.
