What I don't understand is why facts like these don't have any impact of voting trends? The stagnant wages should enrage the very people who are "outraged" by President Obama's socialism. I suppose the new refrain will be "The rich get richer & the poor stay the same." ReThugs will claim that this is progress, since people aren't getting poorer. I just don't have time to explain.
...inequality has risen sharply, so much of the bounty from our growth has gone to a relatively small slice of the population.
