Second Thoughts

OK, OK so I'm a prevaricator. Look it up. I've been having some discussions with close advisors & I'm thinking maybe we won't officially become a Drinking Liberally chapter that meets in the Black Cat after all. The main point of contention is this - the inability to access the internets from The Black Cat. Drinking Liberally is, obviously, a group of people deeply interested in politics. There are many nights when access to the internets would be really, really helpful. In fact, it's probably essential in this day & age. With the elections coming up, we all feel the real need for this community service & for some reason, The Black Cat will not provide it. If we become an official chapter, with the dot on the map for Ashland, people will find us by use of the internets. What's the point of that, if The Black Cat is the only coffee shop within 35 miles that doesn't provide free WiFi? Anyway, this whole thing is still be turned around in my (our) heads. Yes, I know that may be a chilling thought to some, but give me a break. We'll see, we'll see.

Cold h2o:

Why don't you offer to pay for the installation and monthly internet fees, maybe then the Black Cat will go along with this idea.

oh please, this is a no brainer. the black cat would not lose any $ by installing internet and paying the measley monthly bill. people would spend more time in the establishment therefore spending more money and the black cat would make up the difference in the cost to install wifi in the first place. grow up and get connected.

The offer has been made, some equipment donated apparently, but still the answer is no.
