They even refuse to tell me when it might arrive on my town road. It is very irritating. I am writing this from the Sidekick's home, where he has a wireless network set up. BTW, he lives in town.

The Sidekick finished up the installation of central air conditioning in his house yesterday. I, luckily, decided to visit. We sat there watching the temp drop on the thermostat. It was like watching baseball, only cooler. (I know, I know.) He now has air & wireless broadband. Since he & Mrs. Sidekick have previously adopted children, I am going to insist that they adopt me, at least for the duration of this awful hot weather. I broached the subject last night while watching the thermostat with them, but heard very little from them, in terms of a warm repsonse. In their defense, they were eating some great cheeseburgers & homemade fries. I'll keep trying, heatedly.
