The study that showed excessive erosion in the St Clair River bounced around the net a while back and my question is: Are there economic interests that benefit from increased flow downstream such as shipping interests in the St Lawrence seaway, shipping in the Chicago canal and thus the Mississippi? Are there fresh water tankers at the mouth of the St Lawrence River? I don't trust these MFers or MFettes one bit.
