New Frogs

Carolyn is just going to love this.

“Scientists working in conjunction with the New York-based World Conservation Society, or WCS, say they have discovered eight new species of frogs in the past two years. Among them is one where the male is half the size of the female and another which has a row of spines running down its belly.”

You are right. We KNEW this would happen. When one sleeps whith a bear, one should expect to be eaten. However, I could not have predicted the couragous actions of Julie and her staff. It took a hell of a lot of guts for them not to cave into the unethical demans of their corporate bosses and I am proud of all of them. The Ashland community can learn a lot about the importance of standing-up to powerful monied interests from this small band of brave workers. I am proud of all of them!
